Strengthening Local Governance for Disaster-Resilient Communities (SAKSHAM) Evaluation Report

Lutheran World Relief implemented the Strengthening Local Governance for Disaster-Resilient Communities (SAKSHAM) project from July 20, 2020 - December 19, 2022. Between November 14, 2022 - December 19, 2022, Green Governance Nepal Pvt. Ltd. conducted an independent endline evaluation of the SAKSHAM project to assess its performance and to capture achievements, challenges and best practices to support programmatic expansion and inform future programming.

Funded by the United States Agency for International Development's (USAID) Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA), the SAKSHAM project strengthened community resilience through an integrated approach to disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) planning, capacity strengthening and resilient livelihoods in Nepal.
