During the violent conflict in Darfur in the early 2000s, Lutheran World Relief supported refugees, returnees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Sudan. With violence and instability surging in the country again, we are working with our Corus family organizations to address ongoing humanitarian and health needs there.
